Why you should put your ethical awareness into practice, by letting your garden be a safe heaven for animals, and how thereby a new understanding for gardening can be developed.
The wilderness garden as a hotspot in the environment, the habitat - the sanctuary that is encompassed by a mote and the universe itself!

Hi, my name is Gita Yegane Arani-May aka Palang Latif. I would describe myself as a vegan Animal Rights commentator and, apart from that I work as a webdeveloper, you can see a list of my work at Simorgh.de.
JUST FREETHINKING: as of the 12th January 08 (PNG image, 508 kb), 17th Sept 07, and a list of what's on here "This is on this page".
GERMAN: ... a German link that I want to recommend also to those who can speak or who read German ... Gruene Jugend: Spunk 51, PDF. The greens critically discuss the concept of 'organic meat production' and its implications for animal welfare. They reconsider to more strongly include vegetarian and AR arguments into their discussion! That's superb!
In the area where I live people have their gardens "neat". That means nature has to obey their wills. Our garden in contrast, is a little miniature refuge and sanctuary for all that type of life that will be around in your garden, if you appreciate it, love it, leave it and respect it.
You should develop eyes for microcosmic dimensions: different grasses and different mosses want to become a heterogeneous layer in which tiny animalcules (insect, spiders, worms) will be able to live in a somewhat naturallly harmonic context.
And also you should have respect for the way in which different trees are growing: the growth should not be crippled, and the statute of a particular type of tree needs to be always considered if a branch really has to be cut off.
I am putting all kinds of thoughts on gardens here, not mainly in a factual sense, but more in an inspirational sense. The concepts people have of their gardens and what they actually do to the piece of land they turn into their gardens, expresses much about their general views of the world and whether "Man" should dominate or instead cultivate integrative and appreciative views of the world.
